A collection of production, prototype, and personal infrastructure work covering authentication, hosting, storage, automation, deployment, and developer tooling. These projects demonstrate practical backend ownership across commercial software, 3D applications, and self hosted development environments.

Firebase Application Architecture


Designed and maintained Firebase backed application infrastructure for web and Unity/WebGL products, supporting authentication, hosting, storage, database access, and server side workflows.

Used Firebase as a scalable backend foundation for browser applications, balancing speed of development with security, maintainability, and production readiness.

Authentication & User Access


Implemented secure user authentication flows for web apps, including login persistence, protected user data, and access control across client and backend systems. Focused on keeping authentication reliable for end users while ensuring sensitive logic and permissions remained controlled through backend services and security rules.

Cloud Storage & Asset Delivery


Managed huge cloud hosted asset repositories for a real time 3D application, including downloadable content, user accessible file systems and structured storage workflows.

Worked with storage access rules, CORS configuration, and content delivery considerations to support Unity/WebGL applications running in the browser.

Hosting & Deployment Workflows


Built and maintained deployment and automation workflows for web applications, backend services, WebGL builds, and supporting infrastructure. Focused on repeatable releases, reduced manual deployment steps, reliable environment setup, and smoother delivery across product, content, and engineering workflows.

API Platform & Unity SDK


Designed backend API infrastructure to expose proprietary containerised algorithms to external users through secure, managed access.

The system supported API key creation, request validation, plan limits, usage tracking, and routing to microservice algorithm services. I also built a Unity SDK to make the API easier for customers to integrate into their own projects, abstracting away authentication, request handling, and backend implementation details.

Serverless Functions & Backend Logic


Used cloud functions and backend services to move sensitive or operationally important logic out of the frontend and into controlled server side environments. This included exploring server side handling for authentication related workflows, data access, and application logic that should not be exposed directly in client side builds.

WebGL Infrastructure Support


Supported the deployment and operation of Unity WebGL applications, including hosting, asset loading, iframe integration, browser communication, and cloud backed user workflows.

This work connected frontend web experiences with real time 3D applications and backend services. Additionally the service was streamable via an iframe integration with VM suppoerted hosting.

Self Hosting & Developer Tooling


Personal projects include developing practical experience with Linux hosting, networking, access control, backups, and long running service maintenance, to host a series of TTRPG servers.

Set up and managed Perforce infrastructure for Unreal Engine development workflows, supporting version control for large binary assets and collaborative game development practices.
